Disabled Access: Continuing Education Course May 1
Gilda Puente-Peters - Apr 20,10 8:21PMGilda Puente-Peters has scheduled a training course on disabled accessibility to meet California State licensing requirements for continuing education on disabled access. This course will provide a certificate of 2.5 continuing education units towards the total of 5-hours required every two years as a requirement for California State Architectural license renewal.
TRAINING TOPICS:
This Accessibility training course will cover the following sections:
Sanitary Facilities
Alarms, Electrical Controls & Operable Mechanisms
Signage and Wayfinding
Assembly Use Areas
Business & Mercantile Use
Educational Use
Residential Use

LECTURER INFORMATION:
Gilda has been providing the mandated continuing education accessibility trainings for the OWA and other private and public organizations. Gilda served as a subject matter expert for a year and a half, participating in the development of the Certified Access Specialist Program (CASp). She offers also detailed two-day CASp trainings, to prepare candidates to take the test to obtain the CASp certification.
