Interviewees needed for "Open Building" an Architectural Website

My name is Katerina Vaseva and I'm an editor at OpenBuildings.com, a young and enthusiastic website about architecture. A couple of weeks ago I started working on an article about the women in the architectural industry as a response to upsetting statistics, reporting that in the majority of Western countries women constitute only about 20% of the practicing professionals in contrast to architecture schools where the proportions are almost equal. However, over time the complexity and multiplicity of the problem urged me and my colleagues to take a different path focusing on the personal experiences of female architects themselves.

We are planning to start a weekly series of interviews with women from different fields related to architecture as hopefully over time, this would provide a broader, more complex perspective on the matter, without summarizing them through numbers or generalizations. Parallel to this, we also want to present their works.

We'd be very grateful if you could distribute this information among your members. If any of them would like to contribute, I could send you or them the set of questions we've prepared.
We believe that looking at the topic from the individual points of view would provide a more fair perspective on the matter, rather than abstraction or generalization.

Thank you very much in advance and I wish you a bright week.

Best Regards,
Katerina Vaseva
