Anne Tuckert's introduction explores the question of whether women's photography Is In fact different from men's. Is there perhaps a greater sensitivity to the human situation? She explores the obstacles encountered in pursuing the art form on the part of the ten Women reviewed and their resulting life styles. Each of these women came from a different time and Place from (1934) through Sea Nettles (1946-).. Their art is dynamic and very individual as- are their lives. |
