OWA June Event -Fairyland TOUR OF FAIRYLAND Date : Tuesday 18 June 2002, 6:30-7:30pm Location : NE corner of Lake Merritt Tour starts at entrance of Bellevue and Parkview Fairyland is like a secret garden for children. Redesigned by Lucia Howard, it features Mother Hubbard's shoe, a golden Chinese dragon, the Magic Lamp in Arabian Nights and the Johnny Appleseed's Café for starters. The Village Square exhibits a multicultural cast of architecture from around the world. New construction is underway for a new Carousel and expanded Hansel and Gretel restrooms. |
