Tuesday, May 20 the OWA sponsored a tour of Christ the Light Cathedral in Oakland on Lake Merritt lovingly conducted by Craig Hartman of SOM, the design architect. The architecture was stunningly beautiful and moving and the presentation of his design was enlightening and extremely informative giving a very personal insight into the design process and concept development that goes into a building of this caliber. A second tour will be offered Tuesday, June 17th for those who missed the first one.
