Holiday Benefit Party Our traditional Gift Giving Party in December is to be held at Gilda Puente-Peters’ house in El Cerrito. Similar to the past years, we will be donating to Hamilton Family Center in San Francisco. Members are encouraged to bring toys for children from age two to sixteen and clothing’s for men, women, teenage and children. Wish list : new toiletries-soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion new underwear and socks for children and youth Safeway, Target, and other gift cards new children’s clothing (all sizes) new art supplies new or gently-used twin or full sized bedding, pillows, and blankets new or gently-used bath towels and wash cloths Financial donations designated to fulfill wish list items Hamilton Family Center is committed to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, Through their Housing First approach, they have provided a dontinum of housing solutions and comprehensive services for families and individuals all year round. During the holiday season they provide presents and parties offering families with hope in the face of homelessness. OWA members are very proud that we are continuing our effort in making a fairer society.
