This workshop is dedicated to mastering stress management, aiming to foster a healthier work-life balance for architects. Throughout this session, participants will gain invaluable insights into: - The physiological cause and effect of stress on architects. - The 4 different types of stress. - How to identify if you or a colleague is dealing with prolonged and chronic stress. - Coping mechanisms to take ownership over stress response. - A path to move forward while implementing stress management techniques and how they will make you a better architect. The clubhouse was designed by Julia Morgan in 1918, home to the Sausalito Womens Club and rented out for weddings and events. 2pm-3:30 Tour of building & grounds with Dana Whitson We'll tour the building and gardens hearing stories of the parallel struggles of Julia Morgan and the founders of the club, followed by a discussion of both the architecture and art in the club. 3:30 - 5pm OWA+DP time for us to enjoy the space & each other's company.
