Speaker Bio:
Pardis Mirmalek is an award-winning designer, technology strategist, and sustainability thought leader with over 15 years of experience. She is a leading figure in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital strategies to enhance the planning, design, and development of buildings and cities around the world. She has led teams on large-scale projects and across Fortune 500 companies, including SFO International Airport, Amazon portfolio of offices, Meta portfolio of datacenters and high-end Residential and Mixed-use developments. She is also the founder and principal of ARTAA, an AI-powered design firm that is transforming the built environment through digital innovation.

She is the recipient of the prestigious Butler Award from Princeton University for her thesis on sustainable urban development. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and panels, including Fast Company, Autodesk University, the AIA, the Institute for the Future, and academic institutions. She holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University and a Certificate of Artificial Intelligence from MIT. She is a thought leader in the field of AI and sustainability, and her work is helping to create a more intelligent, sustainable, and equitable built environment.

- The 4 different types of stress.
- How to identify if you or a colleague is dealing with prolonged and chronic stress.
- Coping mechanisms to take ownership over stress response.
- A path to move forward while implementing stress management techniques and how they will make you a better architect.

Also, one free, virtual, 15 minute meditation with Morgan will be given to one individual who attends the workshop!

Please join us for a Sunday afternoon at the Julia Morgan designed Sausalito Women's Club.

The clubhouse was designed by Julia Morgan in 1918, home to the Sausalito Womens Club and rented out for weddings and events.

2pm-3:30 Tour of building & grounds with Dana Whitson

We'll tour the building and gardens hearing stories of the parallel struggles of Julia Morgan and the founders of the club, followed by a discussion of both the architecture and art in the club.

3:30 - 5pm OWA+DP time for us to enjoy the space & each other's company. Mentoring program TBD.
