Invitation to the USF Community Design Outreach ExhibitionSharon Chio - 12/8/15 3:48PM | ShareCOMMUNITY DESIGN OUTREACH EXHIBITION INVITATION Dear Friends, The Architecture & Community Design Program at USF warmly welcomes you to our Senior Exhibition of Real World Projects! DATE: Tuesday, 15 December 2015 TIME: 10:00am - 1:00pm PLACE: The Getty Study, main lounge of the Lo Schiavo Center for Science and Innovation in the middle of USF campus. (campus address: 2130 Fulton Street, San Francisco CA 94117) REFRESHMENTS: Small bites and a selection of drinks Student teams from the Community Design Outreach - Service Learning capstone studio course have been working with local and international community partners on the following projects: Earthquake Resilient & Culturally Connected Housing | Nepal Film & Entertainment Venue | Sihanoukville, Cambodia Agricultural Village | Hinche, Haiti Veterans Village | Ft. Collins, Colorado & Los Angeles, CA Alameda Food Bank Improvements | Lone Mountain Architecture Studios | San Francisco, CA Recording Heritage/ PlaceRoots | NEH Digital Topic posters from our honors thesis students will also be on display. During the exhibition, students will be nearby to engage in discussion and receive your feedback. You are invited to attend at any time during the event, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, and to stay as long as you are available.
