This seminar will provide an update of the latest 2016 CBC Title 24 code changes effective January 1, 2017 including the new code for electrical vehicle charging stations.

This training session covers the accessibility requirements for Privately funded Housing Apartments, Condominiums, Swimming Pools. The Fair Housing Act Design Manual and California Housing Accessibility requirements contained in CBC Chapter 11A and its six divisions.

Accessibility common errors, omissions and best practices will be discussed. Accessibility case studies will be presented.

Instructor:

Gilda Puente-Peters is a registered Architect and a Certified Access Specialist with 30 years of specialized experience in Accessibility and Universal Design, Education, Design and Construction.

Ms. Puente-Peters has served as a member of the California Division of the State Architect’s Subject Matter Experts Committee to advise on the development of the State’s Certified Access Specialist Program.

Ms. Puente-Peters has provided many Accessibility Training Seminars throughout California as well as internationally. Previous trainees highly recommend GPPA’s Training Programs!
