Calling women architects - focus groups during AIA Convention

OWA Admin - 4/27/09 8:41AM  |  Share

Please join us, and please forward to the architects in your network, especially women:

During AIA Convention 2009 in San Francisco, we are inviting 30 women architects to participate in focus groups discussing the role of gender and their own experiences as women in the profession. Your candid remarks, guided by a professional facilitator who is knowledgeable in gender studies, will be an important contribution to a forthcoming manual on keeping and advancing women in architecture.

The groups will be held on Wednesday, April 29 and Friday, May 1, and will take less than two hours. Courtesy of the AIA, they will be held at the San Francisco Marriott, 55 Fourth Street, a short walk from Moscone Center.

We are eager to hear what you all have to say, and to use it to help women and the profession!
